Using Google search engine, choose a topic that is displayed. You are then redirected to numerous different other web sites. If you use chaced you can get to the intended site. Upgraded to the latest version of firefox, problem went away for a short time then reappeared

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Google search
2.See list of topics. Choose one of the major topics from page
3.lower tray goes crazy with sites it is trying to connect, finally hitting one one, generally Sell 4 less or something like that.
4.once you are redirected you cannot go back or leave that site, you must reboot to reconnect to the internet
Expected Results:
choose one of the main topics & that site will come up like it used too & should
If you choose cashe in onr of the main topics the correct site will appear

although Malwarebytes,CC Claener & anti virus spy Doctor & PC tools all say no problme, it sounds like your system has some kind of infection. not much we can do with this bug until we figure out what that might be.
There might be more information here on how to diagnose what malware might be installed on the firefox support site.

No reply from reporter, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 4 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
