The api-util docs in packages/api-utils/README.md don't describe api-utils as unstable. They should do so, to make it clear to developers who read those docs that the APIs in that library may change.
(Note: the fix for bug 613576 <https://github.com/mozilla/addon-sdk/commit/19b79b8ea2496f6d2fb9b5bed2b84b340f54101c> helps a great deal here, but it would still be good for the api-utils docs themselves to make the point.)
This is not a beta blocker, but I would definitely take a low-risk fix for it.
