Manually stop loading a page before browser get response from the site will lose the target URL in location bar.

Sometimes due to network condition, and firefox can't open a page. And before it get the response from the website, location bar show nothing.

If you wait long enough, firefox will give a error page. But if user try to stops loading that page and reload it manually, ooohs. All you got is a blank page... you can't load a page without a address, right?

I don't know why this doesn't fixed when the problem's been there for years...

Reproducible: Always
Summary: No URL when stop loading before site response → No URL address before get site response
Summary: No URL address before get site response → No URL address before get site's response
I always thought this was done on purpose, when you typed an error in the URL.
Component: General → Location Bar
QA Contact: general → location.bar

It's definitely a bug, very annoying especially when you connection status is bad. The most troublesome thing is you got no history record and of course no Tab Name at all, in another word, you won't even know what page been stop!!!!
The Location Bar has tons of problems, and you can't expect them to be fixed. FF has a "tradition" not keeping the current Url, e.g. after you type a new address to open a new tab, you go back to the previous tab, you will find the Url you typed are still there, which makes this tab shows a totally wrong address in the Location Bar, ridiculious? but what can you do about it?

well, compare with this, I think this problem is far more critical. Loss a page you can restore is totally different to lose a page you don't even what page it is.
