Then I've hidden the google toolbar and navigation toolbar to save space vertically. http://img580.imageshack.us/img580/5504/toolbarcustomized.png After installing a new add-on (firebug) my customized layout was gone. I tried to get it back, but some of buttons of google toolbar (settings for example) were disappeared. See http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/262/toolbarreseted.png Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Customize layout moving navbar elements to menubar, move some buttons of google toolbar too 2. install a new add-on (Firebug) Actual Results: after restart customized layout is gone, some buttons disappeared (google settings) Expected Results: Layout should not change Preserve custom layout

bug 643929 has other ways to trigger the destruction of new toolbars &/or removing of icons
We updated customization for Australis, so this is no longer an issue.
