User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:2.0b8pre) Gecko/20101208 Firefox/4.0b8pre Build Identifier: Not sure how serious this is, but should probably block 2.0 considering it breaks backwards migration. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create a few bookmarks on trunk and put them in a certain order on the bookmarks toolbar. 2.Switch to a places branch build and change the order of the bookmarks, even removing some from the toolbar and putting them on the unsorted category. 3.Switch back to a trunk build. Actual Results: Changes made while using places branch build are lost, and bookmarks order is identical to what you had in step 1. Expected Results: Changes made to bookmarks order are kept when backwards migrating.

I suspect this is just bug 617779. if this produced a .corrupt file this is a dupe.
yeah, this is a dupe, since we restore a backup (the db is wrongly considered corrupt), we can't know about new sorting.
