Either it is "4.0b8 broken" and a dupe or it's just a "sync locale with trunk" bug and no dupe, but also no blocker, but just a normal-severity one. Please decide either way, as it stands right now, this bug report is wrong, as it's neither.
I've found Firefox doesn't start on my computer only when Comodo Internet Security 5 has "Costom Policy" active (firefox.exe process exists but without window). When CIS5 firewall module is off Firefox starts normally.
@Canis: You're on the wrong bug. This one is about BUILDING Firefox4 beta 8, and how the Finnish locale has an error that prevents that. It's not about running Firefox.
Didn't this get fix with the re-spin of locales in bug 619258? Did you re-install with the re-spinned builds? NOTE that updates are not offered as the first batch of locales had not been offered to users. @Canis: this is a different bug
Other similar bugs (not building and the undefined entity crash) were resolved by bug 619258.
