User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-GB; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101206 Ubuntu/10.04 (lucid) Firefox/3.6.13 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-GB; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101206 Ubuntu/10.04 (lucid) Firefox/3.6.13 I have a project where the OpenSearch facility will crawl an URL dropped onto the search box. With one FF window, it works a treat. You drag an interesting anchor from the page you're reading onto the search box and I get a page from my webserver telling me the URL will be crawled. What I wanted to do was to open a 2nd FF window with my search engine selected in the Search Box and repeatedly drag anchors from the front window onto the visible search box on the FF window behind. What I was expecting to happen was the window behind would update to show my project had queued the URL for crawling. What actually happens is that the front window updates to show the crawl confirmation. That's annoying because I may want to sequentially drag and drop several interesting anchors from the same page. The URL appears in the search box in the behind window, but the front window shows the result of the request to my project. This bug also works if I use the Google search engine, I just wanted to explain why I'm doing what I'm doing. . Drag an anchor from the front window onto the behind window's search box. Front window updates. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open a New Window 2.Place it behind so that the Search Box is showing 3.Drag an anchor from a web page in the front window onto the behind window's search box Actual Results: Front window shows response from search engine. Expected Results: Behind windows shows response from search engine
