Harmony is an online procedural drawing tool, which also allows users to save their drawings as .png images. When I tried to save the image, the browser (FF4beta8) turned unresponsive for a long time and did not save the image at all. 

I was and still am able to do the same successfully on Firefox 3.6.13, although it takes about 1 minute and 46 seconds.
P.S: My laptop's configuration (Processor Intel Core I5 and RAM is 4 GB)


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to site : http://mrdoob.com/projects/harmony/
2. select any object (say: Circles) from the drop down and draw it multiple times. Repeat the same with another object (Say: Squares), until you've filled the entire page with the drawing.
3.Now, hit the Save button. 

Actual Results:  
You will notice that the browser becomes unresponsive and stays that way for a long time. You won't even be able to tab within the browser or do a clean close of it. 

Expected Results:  
The script on this particular website should have run successfully and saved the image (hopefully faster).

It does go unresponsive, but it isn't very long for me, maybe about 2 seconds max

Hmm.  Either my machine is a huge amount faster than yours or I'm not seeing this issue on Mac.  It takes no longer than a second to generate the image...  And given your specs, my machine is a bit faster than yours, but not a hundred times faster!

Anil, you're seeing this in a clean profile?  Does turning methodjit off in preferences change anything?

My guess is that this is the cairo path thing biting us again, but we really need more data...

Anil Satya, is this still an Issue against final Firefox 4?
