622658 - Search Engines disappear between beta 6 and 7 for some users

There are a number of users (including Mayumi) who are seeing all their search engines disappear after updating to the next beta. The "Restore Defaults" button is enabled and that fixes the problem, but its happened twice so far... from beta 6 to 7 and beta 7 to 8.
