62319 - Program aborts with many newsgroups

My provider has about 42000 newsgroups. In Subscribe, after reading
all groups,the progam aborts.
Stopping the reading-process at 400000 bytes, the program works
and I can subscribe to groups.
But in this case, the subscribed newsgroups are not remembered.
If the navigator is left open and the email program closed (CTRL W)
and restarted, the subscribe groups are present, if all part of
mozilla are closed (CTRL Q) and restarted, no groups are subscribed.
In die directory of News/newsserver/, there are entries for the
subscribed groups.
As the 2nd part maybe just a consequence of the 1st, I don't enter
another report; maybe it is gone after the 1st one is corrected.

VERIFIED a DUP.

Marking VERIFIED DUP for real now, stupid bug 62555 was in my way.
