We're not going to use the title bar text color for tabs. We can't display the gradient either, since it's shorter than the tab bar.

Mike,

Windows Standard/Classic theme is the default theme you get when set XP/Vista for "Adjust for Best Performance". It is the default setting provided in most of Corporate America PCs I have used.

So please reconsider fixing this bug.
I dont think attachment 503448 [details] what we should see as appearance of Fierfox on those PCs.

Please read it as gradient on "Application Title Bar"
Alternatively you can hardcode a single better color.

> We're not going to use the title bar text color for tabs.
Then use some hardcoded foreground/background color by which will allow user to read the title of inactive page.

I am fine with what ever which make firefox look good on that settings

Right, it isn't, since bug 569850 is fixed, which I duped this bug to before you reopened it.

See above.

Dao, your correct... due to Bug 626214 it appeared that bug 569850 fix did not changed any thing. But when I tested on a bright monitor I saw the difference.

Only issue remaining the color gradient on application title.

I am sorry for the confusion.
