(Whiteboard: [sync:tabs])

Showing tabs from other computers should display them grouped depending on what window and what group they pertain, as it is with tabs from different devices. This could help the user find faster the desired tab especially when a lot of tabs are opened on different devices, tabs that are grouped using the panorama feature.

This would be particularly handy on my phone, where browsing through the 100+ tabs in groups on my desktop takes quite a while. If the synced tabs from desktop were presented as, say, collapsed categories, where touching on a category header expanded that category, it would be a lot more manageable.
about:sync-tabs has been deprecated. Better synced tabs UI has been implemented in a menu panel (bug 1201331) and sidebar (bug 1210586). Tab groups is also being deprecated.

:/ Yeah, that tab groups deprecation thing was an unpleasant surprise. I immediately installed the tab groups addon on all my machines (and showed friends/family how to find it). I just hope that those of my profiles that are still on stable and have really complicated group layouts won't lose that information in between the transition from the official support to the unofficial addon. But they probably will ☹
@chris, isn't the request to group by window still relevant? is this addressed elsewhere?
Oh cool. Yeah, if you did windows, maybe the addon could do something clever to sneak tab groups in as labelled windows in sync of something...
