cannot reproduce on Firefox-trunk/WinXP. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.2a1pre) Gecko/20110323 Firefox/4.2a1pre reproduce on Firefox/3.6.16/WinXP. Martin, can you reproduce on Firefox 4.0? Dão, related to bug 644749?
My FF4 does not quit or ask to quit if I close a popup and have 1 tab open. It only asks to close other tabs if I have more than 1 open. And even that sometimes can't be reproduced (could not reproduce on winXP+FF4, could not reproduce it either on linux, but 5 min later I could.... weird...
