according to this, http://www.eldos.com/documentation/cbfs/ref_gen_helper_dlls.html that's an LSP, probably a better registered one which explains why it's loading in w7

Eugene: could you please have someone from Eldos work with us to determine why your module is causing crashes in Firefox? Otherwise, we'll just blocklist it.

The DLL name should be in lower case.

FWIW, it's not clear to me where we came to the conclusion that this particular DLL is causing some (what?) portion of the StrChrIA crashes.

We need more confidence that this will actually solve crashes - not enough information here to reach that conclusion.

I am reasonably sure that this DLL & related service was installed via BoxCrypt, a German program designed to complement DropBox.
Which makes sense as BoxCrypt creates creates a sort of junction where files copied to a virtual DRIVE (eg Y) are encrypted into a actual folder (eg D:\Data\Encrypt) on a physical drive.

I can not find any crashes with this signature in the database.
