We should add the reasons we are blocking skype (bug 627278) to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/blocklist/. There is already text there so it should be refreshed/updated.

Do we really want to do that? Those links are pretty much never audited after the fact. I'd feel more comfortable pointing directly to the bugs, though having a friendlier message would certainly be better from a user's standpoint.

Linking to the bugs usually containing stacktraces that users don't understand just encourages them to post angry comments and call us names. I think it's much better to link to an understandable post that links to the technical details for those interested.

I want to eventually move this page to AMO so it can be dynamic and not need manual updates.

How about we split the difference and put a copy of the blog post on mozilla.com and link to that? it'd probably be better to have it point to our domain/infrastructure as well if the press picks it up.
