Details
Using the change email function in profiles more than one user can have the same email address.
1) create user with email 242user@mozilla.com > confirm
2) create user2 with email 242user1@mozilla.com > confirm
3) log in as user2 > profile > change email address to 242user@mozilla.com
4) confirm email change
5) view profiles for user & user2
expected: unable to have multiple users with same email address
actual: able to have multiple users with same email address
tested with email= rbillings+242user1@mozilla.com [users= 242user & 242user1]

Hmm, I am not surprised at this, and in fact I find it a desirable feature philosophically. Is there a practical reason this is bad?

Many months ago we decided to make email addresses unique. We can revisit that decision but for right now this needs to be fixed, and can't wait on the design decision.

Verified no longer able to change address to a duplicate [in use] email address, or create a user with a duplicate email address.
