in this screenshot the border left of the toolbar is clearly transparent and the bottom border of the toolbar is by design opaque but the border around the content area should be transparent as the border of the toolbar (until yesterday it was so)

Upper part shows the addon bar area with tabs on top turned on, and the lower part with tabs on top turned off
I think this will be modified by bug 599215.

I know what bug 629709 is about, the addon bar is what will change.

Indeed this should be fixed by bug 629709. I'll keep an eye on it and close the bug when that lands
