Details

Build ID: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:2.0b11pre) Gecko/20110130 Firefox/4.0b11pre

In RTL mode, when pressing space button, the cursor moves form the right side to the left side of the search bar. When typing, the cursor moves back to the right.

Steps To Reproduce:
1. Install a RTL language pack and restart Firefox.
2. Click on the search bar.
3. Type any word, hit space then type another word.

Actual Results:
When pressing space button, the cursor moves form the right side to the left side. When typing, the cursor moves back to the right.

Expected Results:
The cursor should stay on the right side of the search bar at all times.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:2.0b11pre) Gecko/20110201 Firefox/4.0b11pre

Confirmed. After typing a word and hitting space button moves the cursor from right side to the left side of the word and when typing again, moves the cursor to the right of the word.
From the description, I assume you are typing LTR text into the search bar? FWIW, the equivalent behaviour occurs when typing RTL text into the search bar in LTR mode, and it's more or less standard behaviour when typing bidirectional text (Even if all the text is intended as LTR, the trailing space in an RTL text field is resolved as RTL until another LTR character is typed).
