firefox freezing whilst trying to use testpilot javascript

This morning I clicked accept on a new testpilot survey for FireFox4 Beta 9 (Ubuntu Maverick Meercat 10.10).
Since then, my firefox has been slow loading, freezing and even giving me the occasional "frozen" script error on testpilot.js
