Details

Trying to apply an updated license file to the staging server in order to get it configured so non-logged-in users can access it, but the following path needs to be writable for the license file to be installed: /data/www/dekiwiki/bin/_x002F_deki/developer-stage.mozilla.org

That's not on the netapp. I'll need to install the file, so it isn't overwritten. Want to e-mail it to me?

This didn't resolve the problem; the key file is not being used by the software.

I've contacted MindTouch to see if the file needs renaming on the server, or if there's something else that needs doing to make it recognized.

From MindTouch-- You'll need to change the ownership of the following two folders to "dekiwiki.apache" to allow the license to upload accordingly: /var/www/dekiwiki/bin/_x002F_deki/ /var/www/dekiwiki/bin/_x002F_deki/developer-stage.mozilla.org/ Can you change these ownerships and let me know if any issues persist?
Mindtouch says to rename the file to "license.xml" and restart the wiki. Can we do that please? Thanks.

Yep. That did it. We'll need to apply a new license file to the live site, probably, when we upgrade it to MindTouch 2010.
