User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101206 Ubuntu/10.10 (maverick) Firefox/3.6.13 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101206 Ubuntu/10.10 (maverick) Firefox/3.6.13 The bookmark star should, if clicked once, save the bookmark without incident. I have to click the star twice for the bookmark to actually be saved. The only place that the bookmark is saved (when clicked only once) is in the Recently bookmarked list in the Bookmark file menu. This happens in the Windows version as well as the linux version. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to a web page. Click the star once. 2. Check bookmarks menu, you will not see your bookmarked page listed. Actual Results: No bookmark is saved. Expected Results: 1. Go to a web page. Click the star once. 2. Bookmark is saved in the bookmark menu. Another part of the bookmark star I hate is that the default location for bookmarks to be saved (when clicking twice on the star) is Unsorted Bookmarks, which is useless because the only place your bookmark will show up is in the submenu Recent bookmarks in the bookmark menu. Not cool.
Version: unspecified → 3.6 Branch
starred bookmarks go to Unsorted Bookmarks folder by design, not to the menu. So they are not expected to appear in the menu.
