Make sure you have a clean profile or press "Clear" button from preferences and then restart the browser.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to https://mozilla.org
2. Look in the URL bar.
Expected results:
The string in the URL bar should say "Untrusted Connection"
Actual result:
The string looks like in the attached screenshot.

This is a Firefox bug, I can see it on nightly too. Not sure of the bug # though.

Andrea - Did you use wifi connection for this? If yes, then what kind of? was it an open network?

Yes, I use wifi connection 802.11g with wpa - TKIP
Lately I didn't saw this problem anymore.
