I frequently use "Open Link In New Tab" from the context menu but in recent nightlies there's been a problem with this. When a page is first opened in a tab, the context menu works fine, but after a period of time, it goes wrong. The menu opens and you can choose the entry but nothing happens. The error console reports that when this happens, gContextMenu is null. Does anyone know why this variable should change?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a tab and use context menu normally
2. Wait. I don't know how long but my lap top goes to sleep after 10 minutes if I don't use it and the menu always fails when I wake it up again. However, it has been happening after a period of working normally too.
3. After a while the menu stops working because gContextMenu is null.

The context menu works again if I open the page anew, by typing the URL in or navigating back to it from elsewhere. A simple reload of the page is not enough.

This has been happening a while and I initially had the impression it might have to do with session restore but I've no actual proof of that.
I have not encountered this issue because I rarely operate in more then one navigator window. However I ran though the steps and everything indeed works properly on my system. I even went stand by and then tried hibernate.

Until someone else can reproduce this bug perhaps -WORKSFORME- is the proper call. It can always be re-opened later.
Simon do you have any extensions installed? Can you see if this happens in SeaMonkey safe mode?

Is this still reproducible with latest build?
