632733 - Make it possible to enable "pinch to zoom" in Preferences

Bug 613909 disabled "pinch to zoom" by default and there is currently no way to re-enable this feature in the UI. Bug 613909, comment 0 suggested that this should be added to the UI but this was not done in that bug.

The feedback for removing "pinch to zoom" has not been positive and several comments refer Firefox as "broken":

It would therefore be good to allow the user to enable this in the Preferences.

Additional info on this problem.  Found out that using Command +(plus) does NOT zoom but that zoom is actually Command =(equals). Somewhere between V3 and V4 of Firefox, there was the loss of the "shift" in the zoom command.

Hope this helps. Would sure like the pinch to zoom on my trackpad back!

This bug is about adding the possibility to enable/disable this feature in the preferences. The above issues are unrelated to this bug.

Agree with OP and suggest adding Preferences item, with default on for OS X - OS X UI guidelines mean that all users will expect this behaviour.
