Details

The JSAPI is not a binary-stable API, and we believe that few or no extensions are using it. I believe that we should probably stop exporting the JSAPI symbols entirely. This means we would have to re-enable static JS on Windows (currently disabled because of PGO compiler issues). See bug 632948 for some background on late-breaking JSAPI changes we need to make in a release cycle. This is not for Firefox 4.
