uses 'reg' utility, which is not available (by default) on my system:
Windows 2000 + MSVC8EE + SDK 2003R2.

There may be a way to manually install it on Windows 2000 (Professional)...

It should be possible to check that this utility is available before trying to use it.

Don't care, sorry. We may be supporting Win2k with the actual product, but that doesn't mean we have to support it for building.
