Details

1. Go to news.google.com 2. Put your finger down on an article 3. After a moment, but not long enough to trigger a long tap, begin panning Expected: link is not colored as if it is active Actual: link is colored as if it is active
Do you want the active state to be cancelled or no active state at all? (This remind me bug 623763)
What was the purpose of the active state? I'm inclined to say no active state at all.
The purpose was (if i remember correctly): * use the active state to do have a feedback * dispatch mouseover to have working CSS dropdown menu
Dispatching the mouseover feels sloppy to me. This could be an extension, but it's unreasonable to expect users to hold their finger down just long enough to mouseover and then pan. As it stands, I'm often left feeling confused why something was highlighted when I was panning.
