If you make the latest post in a forum thread and then return to the forum index, the link to the thread you just came from is blue, indicating that there are unread posts. It should be gray.
Severity: normal → trivial
Summary: Threads show unread post after making the latest post → Threads only marked read when clicking the title
It appears the problem is that the thread is only marked as read if you enter it by clicking on the title. If you click the link to the latest post, it won't be marked as read.
I tried this the naive way and I seem to recall it didn't work (i.e. add ?last=123 to the last-post link). I'll try it again, but if it doesn't work we might need to come up with a more complex solution.

This is in the current prios list. Will target when we get down to it.

I took a look to see if this issue still exists. It does -- for example, if you go to https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/forums/l10n-forum, and click on a link under the "last post" column, the link color in the list doesn't change. It only changes if I got to the post by clicking the title of the post from this list. That makes it a bit difficult to read down the list of forum threads and keep my place.

It is still happening.
