I have been pleasantly surprised by how well Firefox Sync works across all my devices. However, I have one gripe: it should be easy to synchronize my session across computers.
Scenario: I am working on my desktop with multiple tabs and groups at home. I need to leave, and need to go to a meeting, where I take my laptop. I could go to Sync's "Tabs from other computers" page, but I would 1) have to manually open all my tabs, and 2) reorganize all my groups. Instead, it should be as easy as this: I boot up my laptop, run Firefox, and the home page asks me if I'd like to continue my session from my other computer (or, there is a simple entry in the Firefox menu to do so). What do I have? Complete synchronization and continuity between Firefox on my desktop and my laptop.
Currently, I only see one add-on that can do this (and it is experimental): https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tabcloud/. I have yet to test it. However, I believe this should be an innate feature of Firefox.
If I have two computers authorized with my Sync account, it is natural to believe that I may want my session to be continuous throughout the two.
