It appears the new Firefox has extreme memory leaks which is not reproducible with Firefox 3.x. The memory usage just increases with time, it never decreases.

Problem does not appear to be with flash, yeah flash will increase the memory uses, but after I close the flashy thing, the memory usage does not decrease. nsplugin.bin's usage decreases though.

On Gentoo.

Reproducible: Always
Could you see if the issue occurs...
- With a new, empty profile:
http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Basic%20Troubleshooting#w_make-a-new-profile
- Using the latest nightly:
http://nightly.mozilla.org/

If it does occur with the latest nightly, would you be able to try and find the regression range:

Thanks!

dE, I am setting this as a duplicate of Bug 631733 which has been extensively
discussed and which I think also covers your issue.

Feel free to changed it back to Unconfirmed if you think I am not right.
