We generate many reports from cron jobs and MR that currently get copied over to people. What we actually want, from discussions with Jabba, is a place on crash-stats, something like data.crash-stats.mozilla.com with a public section and a private (LDAP protected) section.
Depends on: 620146
I'm thinking along the lines of: A new vhost for crash-analysis.mozilla.com A dns entry that points at the existing pool of crash-stats web servers An NFS share that is mounted on: The webheads as read-only The admin host as read-write The new crashanalysis box we are setting up in bug 620146 as read-write. Will this suffice for now? The vhost would be a simple one with perhaps a /public and a /private alias, each of which will simple server the contents of a corresponding directory on the NFS share, the latter one being LDAP protected. Does that work for everyone?

This sounds good, I think we should move forward and refine as needed.
I've implemented those changes. With the exception of the private data, which I haven't changed. I've e-mailed the details of the setup to chofmann.
