Can we get this on both current and upcoming staging?
If this works ok, I'll add a note to http://code.google.com/p/socorro/wiki/SocorroUpgrade that this needs to be changed for prod.

I disabled puppet on current stage and made the local modification. I also added the correct cron configs in puppet for the new stage environment, which isn't live yet.
