Actually, all you have to do is hit the home button in this case I think.

Upping to Critical for the following reasons: - Data loss, so meets the criteria - This bug increases the chance that those affected by Bug 636777 (and with blank home page) will lose data before they work out where their session has gone - Like Bug 636777 and Bug 637148, this bug will cause (justified) loss of faith in the new on-demand session restore's reliability - they should all be considered hardblockers, even if this means release delay Users are being encouraged to postpone carrying out their session restore, so issues around such postponement such as restarts need to be addressed. The inability to restore more than one session is now a serious problem, where under the 'save and quit' model it was not an issue. Implementing the following solution, even without addressing the other bugs, would negate many of the issues because it allows users to continue with this model if they choose: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=636777#c2

I'm starting to collect bugs that might be considered "fallout" from the quit dialog removal, restore previous session stuff. If you want to help, please add [quit-dialog-delayed-restore-fallout] to the status whiteboard of such bugs. Keep in mind that there are no plans to change anything surrounding this for Firefox 4. I'm merely trying to get all of these bugs together under a single searchable term. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=sw%3A[quit-dialog-delayed-restore-fallout]
Whiteboard: [quit-dialog-delayed-restore-fallout]
Situation in Firefox 4.0 (final release): Starting and then exiting via: Exit menu item = session is overwritten by blank page X on window or Alt-F4 = session is erased

Duping this with bug 637148, since they both address essentially the same issue: Session restore does not persist over multiple restarts because your session is overwritten with whatever your default new session behavior is.
