i have a hosts file to remove all the servers i dont need to contact to speed up web experience (in this case google), but when i want to save pages, FFX cannot get a file and it immediately quits and forgets to replace the image locations from the web source to the local source (and probably other problems too). here is the error (have google-analytics in hosts file, in this case)
E:\PCdead!\battery\laptop battery online shop Revive laptop battery March 2009_files\urchin.js could not be saved because the source file could not be read.
Cb.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. mod hosts file
2. save page that needs a rerouted host

It should not silently save the file because it would be incomplete. Some users might be surprised if there are missing files.
i think it saves the web page then the images then the scripts, then it changes the text in the HTML file to the new local locations, but since the script is not available it aborts without changing the HTML file to the local images. i have to do it manually or i can remove the script reference in the downloaded HTML file and do the page save again, but this is not convienent and really it is a bug.

forgot to add that JPG files can be saved as JPEG and need renaming back to JPG also. REN *.JPEG *.JPG does the trick
