Details

With older versions of netscape, if I do a find on the page, then 20 minutes later hit CMD-F (I'm on a mac), the Find dialog box comes back up with the text-field already highlighted so that I can immediately type my new search text. In the current mozilla build (2000122108), if I hit CMD-F to bring the "Find in This Page" dialog to the front, the text is NOT pre-highlighted, meaning that typing will APPEND to the current text I'm searching for. Having the whole search text already highlighted meant I didn't have to manually sweep my mouse across it (or hit CMD-A) to highlight it all so I can retype over it. It would be nice if Mozilla followed this tradition.
