Details

If I start two copies of Minefield, one with -no-remote, I can reliably make one crash the other. I think it requires Flash. STR: 1. Open Minefield normally. 2. Open a second copy/profile with -no-remote. 3. Load imgur.com in both browsers. AR: When the second browser (whichever is second, afaict) opens imgur, which uses Flash on the home page, whichever browser already had it open crashes. I get the Windows 7 "<Program> has stopped working" dialog and no crash report. ER: No crash. I did this all on new profiles with no add-ons using Minefield from 2011-02-28, but it's been happening for a little while. There are two firefox.exe and two plugin-container.exe processes when it crashes. Going to see if I can repro on another site and also try to get a stack trace with WinDbg.
No luck getting stack traces yet, but I was able to reproduce it using bit.ly instead of imgur. I loaded the bit.ly home page and shortened a URL in both. Again, the second process to load crashed the first.
With crash stats, we've determined that this is bug 639885

Verified Dupe. Confirmed that the crash with bit.ly and imgur.com is fixed in nightly build 4.0pre (2011-04-02)
