User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101203 Firefox/3.6.13 Build Identifier: The input history bar doesn't close when the soft keyboard is hidden by pressing the back button. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to any input control 2. Type a word from input history 3. The input bar shows some suggestions 4. Hit back button 5. The soft keyboard is not visible. 6. The input history is still visible (the focus is on the input bar) Actual Results: The input history bar is still visible. Expected Results: It would be better to hide the input history bar. As per Android conventions, hitting the back button when soft keyboard is shown, hides it. The same behavior should be carried for the input history bar as well. There is a shift in the user's mental model.

Indeed. That is the Form Assistant, and it remains active while an edit box in content has focus. The back button doesn't make it go away. We have also changed the Form Assistant to not show up as a bar across the bottom of the screen, making this less obtrusive. Check out a new nightly.
