joe I did not want nominate this directly as I don't think we should block the release on this but want your feedback/experience.
I also don't if I file it in the right place.

Easy to reproduce.

Hover any link in any page and you will see that the lateral borders (left and right) of the window get re-drawn shifted few pixels vertically.

This gets very very annoying when a page gets redirected few times as the status bar appears and goes away few times creating a weird graphical effect.
