Steps to reproduce (from bug 636135): 1. Open Fennec app 2. From Preferences - Sync tap on Connect 3. Connect to Sync with a valid Sync account 4. Tap on Details > Sync Now 5. While Sync is in progress disable Sync 6. Enable Sync again. With the fix from bug 636135, the "Connect" button reappears but it is disabled until the in-progress sync completes. Instead, disabling sync should immediately cancel the in-progress sync, and re-enabling sync should show either "Connected" or an enabled "Connect" button (depending on whether login completed sucessfully).
Smarter shutdown for sync 2.0 next I take it?
