Toggling Tabs on Top <-> Bottom make no Difference.

As you can see, the Button shifted 2px to the right.

I'd suggest putting it back those 2px.

Moreover the Tab Strip Height could be +/-1px, so that the Button has equal vertical Spacing to the Strip's Borders (now uneven 5/4px).

Another Idea would be to resize the whole Button Shape and make it bigger (15/16px?).

Agreed. The button now does feel too close to the right edge. A few more pixels of padding would make it perfect.
