User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101203 Firefox/3.6.13 Build Identifier: http://openaccess.oldapps.com/mozilla.org//firefox/releases/4.0b12/win32/en-US/Firefox%20Setup%204.0%20Beta%2012.exe Firefox will refuse to respond to any user input after a few seconds of opening it. After I try to reopen it, it will give me the "Firefox is already running, but is not responding..." message. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Firefox. 2. Wait a few seconds. You can do anything in this time. It won't make any difference. Actual Results: Firefox will hang and will not respond to user input. Expected Results: Responded to any user input.
This will only occur under Firefox 4 Beta. It will NOT occur under any other version of Firefox.
Summary: Firefox Beta 4 will stop responding to any user input after a few seconds → Firefox 4 Beta will stop responding to any user input after a few seconds
so, there are two issues: 1. if you start firefox for the first time, do you really see nothing? 2. when you start firefox again, it will give you a dialog saying it's busy, that dialog should be responsive (it of course isn't particularly helpful, but...) please have *zero* instances of firefox running (use task manager to ensure this). https://developer.mozilla.org/en/How_to_get_a_stacktrace_with_WinDbg please ensure that you install the *32* bit version of windbg and the 32 bit version of firefox. If you do not do this, you'll just waste our time. please follow the instructions relating to hangs (!analyze -v -hang).

No, I see the whole UI, it's just that it will not respond after a few seconds. 2. Yes, that dialog is responsive. ALSO: I have tried reproducing this bug, however for some reason it has lengthened the maximum time it will respond for. It can be anyware from the original few seconds to a minute or two.
