User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:2.0b12) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0b12 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:2.0b12) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0b12 When I tried using http://lxr.linux.no/linux/ (the Linux source cross reference) using Firefox 4b12 it appeares to go into an infinit redirect loop. http://lxr.linux.no/linux/ automatically redirects to http://lxr.linux.no/linux+v2.6.37.2/ which in turn redirects back to http://lxr.linux.no/linux/. I tried the site using Chrome the IE Tab Firefox-extension but the behavior did not appear in either of them. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enter http://lxr.linux.no/linux/ in the location bar 2. Press enter 3. Stand back while your browser goes into inside redirects Actual Results: The browser appears to infinitely redirect back and fort between http://lxr.linux.no/linux/ <-> http://lxr.linux.no/linux+v2.6.37.2/. Expected Results: It should not redirect or at least that is what I expect since neither Chrome or IE Tab does it but there's a possibility there is an error in the HTML- or JavaScript-code at http://lxr.linux.no/linux/.

I will try a new profile at work tomorrow but wanted to add that this issue does not appear on my FF 4.0b12 on OSX.

Reporter, please can you confirm whether this issue still occurs using Firefox 4.0.1 (http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/new/) or higher, in Firefox safe mode (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode) and/or with a clean profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Basic+Troubleshooting#w_8-make-a-new-profile). Ideally, also check using the latest nightly: http://nightly.mozilla.org/ If this issue no longer occurs, please close as "Resolved Worksforme". It it in fact still occurs, please provide as much extra information as possible, including what versions tried, whether safe mode/new profile tested etc. Thanks! :-) (Template reply to inactive UNCO bugs; also setting closemedate for 2 weeks time, given lack of activity).
