It would be useful to be able to drag and drop one or more search results into a different folder.
What do you mean by a "different folder"?
Reporter, please add more relevant info to this bugreport, you must be more informative.
The left hand pane is titled 'My Folders'. Suppose i made a folder entitled "kangaroos" (right click - "New Folder"). i'd like to be able to search my Inbox say, for messages containing 'kangaroo', and then drag and drop some of the resulting hits to the kangaroo folder.

For our next commercial release, we're looking at putting in Move/Copy (button,context menu?) functionality in for Search Messages, but don't know if that will include Drag & Drop. See bug 44344.
