A white vertical stripe appears to the right of the central image after (slowly) resizing the Firefox window. It doesn't happen to any size. Why do I think it is a bug? Because it doesn't happen to other browsers (Chrome, IE 8, Opera).

Confirmed. Slowly resizing the firefox window displays a white vertical strip on the right side of the page. Able to reproduce in 3.6.16pre version also.

Same here when i build FF31 with '-O3' on openSUSE. '-O2'-build seems fine with both bundled and system libpng.
But i don't think that our complete visual png breakdown is part of the original report, it's much worse. The only relevant things that i've found about it are:
