Details
(Whiteboard: [Caused by Better GCal addon])
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0
I installed Firefox 4, and with multiple options, I can use them once or not at all and they become greyed out. This includes the forward and back buttons, the edit toolbar button, and even, when it's enabled, the whole menu bar. Restarting Firefox resets these options.
Also, I don't have any favicons in my tabs other than the default folded over page.
When I first log in to Firefox 4 I cannot see any of my bookmarks, and it takes disabling the bookmark bar and re-inabling it to see them. Upon launch, tabs do not appear at the top of the window, and it takes disabling the feature and re-enabling it to cause them to appear in their proper location.
In short, the upgrade is, for me, really buggy. Did I do something wrong?
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Launch Firefox
2. No more steps. Buggy from launch.
3.
Actual Results:
As described. Many features are greyed out, including forward and back buttons, and even the entire menu bar, when I can even enable it.
Expected Results:
A working version of my browser. :)

Very likely caused by incompatible addons.
Could you see if the issue occurs if using Firefox in safe mode:
http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode
How about with a new, empty testing profile? (Don't install any addons into it)

Re-starting Firefox in Safe Mode fixed the issue. Now to track down which addons version 4 doesn't like...
Thanks!

Could you please write what extension was causing this issue in this bug? Thank you!

I'm pretty sure it was the "Better GCal" extension. It added some functionality to the Google Calendar.

The Better GCal addon is not marked at 4.0 compatible on AMO (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/better-gcal/), so TE not required, so marking as invalid.
If it turns out it was in fact another addon, please reply with it's name - thanks!
