User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 how do you save your firefox session when using multiple main windows of firefox with each having multiple tabs? how do you trigger an exit function to close and shutdown the whole firefox app and not to lose any of your main windows and its contents. when having one main window with multiple tabs its the same. only when shutting down firefox via the "x" close button of the operating system (most of the times in upper right corner of the application interface of the programs) makes firefox ask me if it should save the tabs and sessions. obviously you cannot trigger this when having multiple main windows, can you? why does the "menu: file, function: exit" not trigger the dialog to ask for the session contents, tabs, windows etc. if they should be saved and be able to restored upon next start of firefox. thanks for clarification. Reproducible: Always

We disabled the quit dialog by default. Your session can be restored via the history menu (restore previous session), the default home page has a big button, or you can set firefox to always restore your session in the general pane of options.
