Not so much a bug as a confusion in what the browser should do. In every desktop browser tried, Chrome, IE7, Safari, Firefox and iPhone/iPad the SVG objects in the above web site are draggable. No browser on Android ie Webkit, Firefox, Frennic, or Opera will allow the objects to be dragged. The built in Android browser does not support the SVG blocks so nothing is drawn. Opera / Firefox / Frennic does support SVG (Thank you!!!) But there is confusion as to what the user i trying to do, moving the page or moving the object. Note that iPhone's browser does operate properly. In the Android case the browser thinks you want to drag the page view. This is not the case with iPhone. My concern is a cross platform that we are developing that allows graphical programming using blocks drawn with SVG similar to the demo page I attached. I have seen other apps done in Flash / Air where the app had a button to lock the page in full screen and therefore removing the confusion, after that the blocks could be dragged on Android the way they would be dragged on a desktop.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Run the demo on a desktop, any browser it works.
2.Run the demo on iPhone/iPad it works
3.Run the demo with Firefox/Frennic it does not work
