Description

JavaScript is rising in importance and starting to be used in very large applications. JS apps with dozens of MBs of code and hundreds of MBs of data - of similar size to desktop apps! - should be supported.

This bug is meant to track bugs related to supporting such large JS applications, both in the browser and in the shell.

This may be largely fixed/done; do we need this tracking bug any more?

Two year old meta-bugs with only one blocking bug aren't adding value, IMO :)
