Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0

When a new window is opened, none of the existing app from the previous window are saved. If the window with the app tabs is closed, the app tabs are deleted.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create an app tab (Right click tab > Pin as app tab)
2. Open a new window (Control+n)
3. Close window with existing app tab
4. Close firefox completely and reopen.
Actual Results:
The pinned app tab previously created is gone, and can not be recovered.

Expected Results:
The app tab should be pinned to the new window

In addition to windows 7 64 bit machine, this behavior was also exhibited on a stock Firefox 4 with no add-ons running windows xp sp3 (32 bit).
FF4 remembers the last window closed and not the one before. This is the intended behavior of the browser.
If you whant to see that window, you have to go to History, in the menu and select Restore Previous Session and after that, select the Recently Closed Windows > Restore All Windows
