After searching and displaying a page. Click on the search text box. No cursor is displayed. Typed text is accepted and displayed in the box. This is not consistent. At times it will work correctly and other times it will not. When it is not working clicking on any text input has the same problem. Started on initial install of version 4.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. click search input
2. type text.
3. click any displayed web site
4. click in a text input.
Actual Results:
Cursor is not displayed however focus is moved to the input field. Typed text shows in the box.

Expected Results:
Expected flashing cursor and the ability to select text with double click or click and drag.

After a restart of the computer the bug is gone. I am now unable to reproduce the bug. I would suggest trying a new install on a clean windows vista machine with all the updates. This is what I had when I found the problem.

Happened again today. I am not sure how to reproduce the bug. I was browsing for a time then opened a pdf and wanted to go the the site that contained the pdf. I clicked on the url and was unable to get it to place the cursor. I tried to type to see if it was just a display problem. No text was entered. I tried double click with no result.

I closed and re opened the browser and it now works. I will explore the problem further.
Ok I can now consistently cause the problem. I found that as soon as I display a pdf in the browser the url and search inputs have the described problem.
I used the pdf at this location http://www.crosslinktech.com/Urethanes/softpupaper.pdf Click in the pfd then back in the text input.
I have tried this several times and it reproduces each time. In addition I noticed that the cursor in the pgf moves with the arrow keys even after I have clicked back in the url input.
Per the other Bug Report it's nominated for 4.0.1.
